Top gun: Maverick (2022) was released since the first Top Gun in1986. I haven't been in the movie theater after 3 years.
Even before the show, you saw a short clip that Tom Cruise was greeting to the audience and thanks for watching this movie.
It was a great movie. You heard the same music as the 1986 one.
This blog was about the toy. So I am focusing on this new jet - F-18 super hornet. In 1986, it was F-14.
Here are some real photos of the Jet.
It looks really cool and I tried to find it if there is a scale model available. You can find there are few from Revell model kit or Matchbox. However, the Revell model kit requires painting, glue and good skill to build it. The matchbox is very small. Then I found this JCWing 1/72 F/A-18F. It is an alloy toy with all the details. It is nearly fully assembled. You can put the wheels or there is an option with a holder so it looks like it is flying.

It is available now and it is about $180USD. I found some people complained about the rear wings. It was very easy to detach. So you might need to use super glue to attach it again. There are two pilot figures in the box. One more thing, the cockpit can be opened! Enjoy. I am thinking to get one too.
